Neural Therapy

Headache Syndromes

For headaches of any kind, neural therapy according to Huneke can be extremely helpful. Here as well, the patient’s individual medical history and a very careful physical examination form the basis of the assessment.

It may occur that a characteristic headache pattern only begins after certain medical interventions (e.g. surgery of the nose and paranasal sinuses or dental root canal treatments), which provides an indication for an appropriate neural therapeutic approach. Furthermore, the most precise possible assessment of the location, character, radiation, and temporal course of the headaches is of crucial importance.

In combination with a comprehensive physical examination, including the entire spine, myofascial relationships, and active muscle trigger points, a neural therapeutic treatment concept can usually be developed.
